How PlanVault works

PlanVault is the team's archive of past decks and research. The workflow runs from finding evidence to sharpening an idea with it — every answer points back to the slide it came from.

Take the tour
  1. Find decks

Search by brand, audience or theme, or browse by industry and category on All decks, the Deck map, or the Brands directory. Search shows the decks that match and the exact slides. Filter by the team's own tags in the sidebar.

  2. Read a deck

A deck opens as one scrolling page, slide after slide. The header shows which slide you are on; type a number in go to to jump. Links to a slide (#s12) can be shared. What this deck argued lists the insights and recommendations found in it, each linked to its slide.

  3. Ask about a slide

Press Ask about this slide: a panel opens beside it with the slide's text and a question box. Highlight any part of the text and press Ask about this to ask about just that passage. Ask about this deck at the top asks across the whole deck.

  4. Save what is useful

Press the bookmark on any deck or slide to save it (press it again, or Undo, to remove). Everything saved is one click away under the bookmark in the header — or press b. Tag decks and slides with any word.

  5. Build a Stack

Add to stack collects slides from any decks into one ordered set, with a note on why each one matters. Open it from Stacks to reorder, ask across all of it, or copy it as text.

  6. Organise by client or project

A Workspace holds the decks and stacks for one client or project.

  7. Turn evidence into thinking

Brief mode reads a brief against the archive (or a stack) and returns insights, implications and strategic imperatives. Sharpen coaches an insight and suggests sharper angles — open it from a stack or a slide to ground it in those slides. Browse everything already extracted, across every deck, on Insights.

  8. Add decks

Add deck takes a PDF or PowerPoint file; decks placed in the team's Google Drive inbox folder are added every night. Text is searchable straight away; slide images follow.

How far to trust an answer

  • Every sentence cites a slide like [C123] — click it to check.
  • By default answers only say what the slides say; sentences that go further are removed.
  • Tick Think with me to allow implications and ideas. Those answers are labelled Interpretation — built on the cited slides, not stated in them.
  • VISUAL results come from a model reading the slide image; DERIVED results are insights taken from a deck and quoted back to their slide.
